I frequently talk and run workshops on curiosity (as it relates to leadership, innovation and creativity), so I’ve put together some insights on the power of curiosity in our work and personal lives and some tools to help you infuse more curiosity, creativity, innovation and mystery in your world.
Curiosity is the operating system for learning anything new; from coming up with new ideas; creation of insights; breaking new ground and discovering anything new. It’s the foundation of all creative, artistic and design pursuits. And, thanks to the significant demands on our time, pressures in entrepreneurial and creative roles, and the near-constant distractions of screen (yes, including the one you’re looking at right now), making time and ritual for curiosity it’s one of the most overlooked or taken for granted aspects of anyone’s creative work—and that’s all of us human beings).
“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existing.” — Albert Einstein
